This
is Big Daddy Cash sitting here at my computer recalling the tragic events that
took place on September 11, 2001. My heart still aches for those poor
unfortunate people who lost their lives and the victims who suffered and will
continue suffering emotionally for the remainder of their lives. Only God knows
the reason these things happen and only God can give us the strength to
overcome.

In case your mind has blocked out these monstrous events let me
remind you and refresh your memory. On the morning of September 11th 2001 all
hell broke out in New York City when planes crashed into both World Trade Center
buildings causing them to collapse and do irreparable damage to nearby
buildings. The planes were hijacked by Islamic extremists on a suicide mission.
American Airlines, flights 11 and 175 were the hijacker’s choice of weapons. A
third plane, America Airlines flight 77 was hijacked and crashed into the
Pentagon Buildings in Virginia, a short time after the attack in New York. A
forth plane was hijacked from United Airlines, flight 93. In all indications it
was targeted at Washington DC but through the heroic attempts of the flight crew
and passengers to retake control of the plane the targeted mission failed. The
plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

A heartbreaking
History was made on that tragic filled day. A day that people from all over the
world, will always remember, with heavy hearts. Three thousand lives were taken
and thousands more were affected.

I'd like to see the terrorists suffer
and die and I would like to shake hands with the unknown artist that wrote the
following.

Two thousand one, nine eleven
Five thousand plus arrive in
heaven.
As they pass through the gate,
Thousands more appear in wait.
A
bearded man with stovepipe hat
Steps forward saying, "Lets sit, lets
chat."

They settle down in seats of clouds,
A man named Martin shouts
out proud,
"I have a dream!" and once he did
The Newcomer said, "Your
dream still lives."

Groups of soldiers in blue and gray
Others in
khaki, and green then say
"We're from Bull Run, Yorktown, the Maine"
The
Newcomer said, "You died not in vain."

From a man on sticks one could
hear
"The only thing we have to fear.
The Newcomer said, "We know the
rest,
trust us sir, we've passed that test."

"Courage doesn't hide in
caves
You can't bury freedom, in a grave,"
The Newcomers had heard this
voice before
A distinct Yankees twang from Hyannisport shores.

A
silence fell within the mist
Somehow the Newcomer knew that this
Meant
time had come for her to say
What was in the hearts of the five thousand plus
that
day.
